I’m sure that unless you’ve just fallen from Mars, you’ve seen a bomber jacket. You can find them practically in every store, from couture to high street to even charity shops. Why do people love bomber jackets? For one, they are really comfortable, which is a breath of fresh air compared to the more structured blazers and jackets that ruled the catwalks in the recent seasons. Another reason may be the laid-back, chill vibe that this jacket emits. It practically screams to me “I’m cool and I know it”.
I wasn’t too keen to jump on the bomber trend though, as it seemed quite sporty for my feminine, more sophisticated style. However, I absolutely fell in love with this one from New Look (which is now on SALE for just £19, so it’s a bargain). It’s flattering, pretty and really versatile.
